Back in 1969 Hurricane Camille in my area killed over 200 people and washed out roads and bridges all over the Blue Ridge Mountains whole small villages along the Tye,James and Rockfish rivers were totally wiped out,had several people I knew that got swept away and never found.Life goes on but really never really recovers 100%.
