There are different grades of diesel fuel, winter & summer grade. Furnace fuel is pretty much like diesel. There may not be any additives like diesel has to protect injectors, etc. We use regular summer diesel in our oil furnace, have for years. In my climate if the fuel tank is outdoors it might jell, you would need some winter fuel mixed in. All these fuels can be formulated slightly differently, but in many places furnace fuel & diesel fuel are one & the same. --->Paul
