I usually buy what ever oil I can whren it's on sale. I just insure that the ratings on the oil is the same as the more expensive stuff (not sysnthetic). I change the oil in my vechiles every 3,000 to 4,000 miles. 90 Chevy truck 4x4 160,000+ miles. Uses less than 1 quart between changes, think it's due to bad valve seals. 91 GEO tracker 260,000+ less than 1/2 quart between changes. 83 GEO Tracker 4x4 less that 1 quart between changes.

From this you cab draw your own conclusions about brand of oil.
