PatM, the kiwi pounder is exactly what I had in mind, Thankxs where did you find these, did u do a search for post drivers ??. I did one for Post pounders and found not much. Ive kinda refined my idea, I got a little smarter, im going to try and find a toyota 4x4 pick up, shortbox. Eraly 80's the cheaper the better. Then im going to try and find an all hydrolic pounder or modify one, and mount if off the back of the truck instead of the side like a tractor. Then i can get into realy tight area's, that generaly every fencing job around these parts. plus my wight is better balanced, and can opeate like a tractor, straddling the string line. What da ya think?
