It all depends on what Ferguson you are talking about, a TO35 is a major leap above an 8n. A TO 35 Deluxe has dual clutches, with an independent pto, so, on a bushhog or whatnot, an overrunning clutch is not required. It also has a dual range three speed transmission, which effectively creates 6 forward and 2 reverse speeds. It also has ~10 more horsepower, and was avalable as the MF 35 for a looong time. Those HP specs for everything other than the 35 are only guestimates....
