If you're going to be working them hard in hot weather you'll probably want some straight fuel.
My fuel supplier tells me that the only difference between fuel oil and diesel fuel he picks up at the terminal is the diesel fuel has an additive injected as he loads. However, he has run enough if this additive through furnaces, and says they are much cleaner, that he gets the additive in all fuel he buys.
Since I have been buying diesel fuel from him, I haven't had any fuel cut. There are days when I can't get fuel through my supply tank filters, but both loaders stay running. If I had to run on every bitter day and care for animals it would be a different story.
