Good job on the video!

Went to 3 consignment type auctions last year. One small, one medium and one huge. Came to the conclusion that these means of disposal for sellers.....an opportunity to clean things up and get rid of stuff you no longer want, but NOT a good place to sell if you want top dollar for it.

Part of that might be what the item is.....a good deal or a pig in a poke. All of them are selling "as is" and as such, I think most buyers are leery and bid accordingly. For some items, you can get some good deals. I watched what I thought looked like a decent NH 258 hay rake sell for $240......nobody wanted it. Same rake on CL would be $800 to $1,000. Saw a heavy built 6' blade sell for $100 and it is now on Craigslist for $350.

Of course anything I was interested in brought top dollar......but isn't that always the way it goes?

This article will focus on what I encountered and what I did to bring the 1951 NEAR DEATH Farmall H back to life. ... [Read Article]
