We also have our policy through State Farm, but I believe it is an adder on our car policy. They allowed me to set the value of the tractor, and came out and took pictures of it for their records. Haven't had a claim so it's hard to say if things are OK.
One thing to keep in mind is that the insurance companies are not going to cover a tractor under your normal homeowners or car policy.
