Well, I will start this discussion, and there will be all kinds of stories...some years ago I was associated with an old tractor club or group of sorts. One fellow claimed he had an engine with 50000 hours on it. I tried to reason with him that it had to run 1000 hours per year or close to 4 hours every day for 50 years which was highly unlikely during the 1940s and 1950s. Others in the group suggested that a lot of those hours were accumulated when the engine was being used as a heavy duty doorstop....so, that's my tall tale!
