Could be nothing more than a tired governor spring on the 60. I,ve seen lots of them after 40 some years of bending with very little tension left in them. That 60 will run with any WD 45 for hp and plain out pull the 45 unless lots of weights are added to the AC to boost traction up to the weight of the JD. Which one is more comfortable to drive? I,d take the 60.
