We had a lot of snow in the winter of 1970-71. I took this slide about February of 71 showing how deep the ridges were along the municipal road after the graders had struggled their way through with the V plow and wing. There were a few cross country trails cut across the fields that winter as the roads became too much for the graders to keep open. We don't get winters like that anymore.
