The deal is, I am trying to help my auctioneer friend get this job and since I know a lot about tractors I’m trying to help her put together an estimate of total value. I know it is estimated because auctions are a crapshoot, but the auctioneer friend wanted me to get a rough idea so she will know how she needs to charge the owner for doing the auction. She prices auctions differently on a case by case basis.....typically doesn’t charge buyers premiums. I know a good bit about old tractors and Old tractor parts but unfortunately I know nothing about the value of a ford 8n with flathead V-8, nothing about an Oliver crawler, and I don’t know much at all about those smaller name brand lawnmowers that seem to be less Common. this guy had a lot of less common old tractors and equip, which I know nothing about the value of. For example, that Ford 8N with the mercury flathead V-8 could be worth $5000 or $15,000, I’m not very sure and there is a big difference there. Location is in Alabama.
