If it's coming from where I think, that is a weep hole for the brake area, which is supposed to be dry. You have a bad axle shaft seal, alowing gearlube to leak from the rear frame/differential housing, or a final drive input shaft seal out, allowing gearlube to leak from the final drive. A copious leak would favor the diff housing side, but either or both is possible. If you tear it down, consider replacing both seals and the brake band.
