Actually the Magnum tractors are more IH than Case. IH had prototype Magnum built when they were bought, it was set up just like the 7100 series Magnums except for the sheet metal and Cummins engine. For those that think all IH rear ends were junk the 18 speed powershift in the Magnums was designed and built by IH and has been one of the most reliable transmissions ever put in a tractor. I have heard of some in Florida doing loader work with 20,000-30,000 hours with no repairs. Also CIH still used the Gloss Red paint that IH used since '82.
