Nice of you to help him out. Sounds like what I did 19 years ago. Feb 22...fell on my ankle, a plate and 7 screws later....laid up for 2 months. Better half and the kids stepped up to make sure the cows got milked, etc. With field work, the boys hooked up equipment, filled the drill, etc. before school. Good lesson in "family farming". I saved the notebook they had in the barn to communicate with so that everything got done.
