I run an auto repair shop. The AC Delco filters for this engine that dealers use are junk. I have taken several off to fix low oil pressure complaints. Usually happens around 1500 miles from their loss leader oil change they got at the dealer. This engine is VERY sensitive to the oil filter flow. You do know that the OEM's don't build anything, right? They sub-contract a spec out and buy from the cheapest supplier. I used to get a kick from the people who thought our AC Delco oil at the dealer was somehow magical. Nope, cheapest supplier. All OEM's do this, tractors makers included.
