I was going to agree with you right up until the part about the GY being the most durable and long lasting tire.
Maybe back in the days of the Super-Torque and Power-Torque zig-zag lug tires. But since they started the long bar/short bar Dyna-Torque designs, they wear fast and uneven till they're bald.
Good-Year didn't invest in the large rear farm tire business like Firestone did, no "The Machine", mobile tire test lab.
