I for one do not want to go back to the good old days. I remember when the Rural Electric Company brought the power lines to our country community.
Petroleum lamps, a well with a bucket and windlass, iron wash pots to heat water for the laundry. Wash tubs and rub boards for laundry and clothes lines for drying. The laundry was a full days work. And heating the flat irons on a wood cook stove to iron the clothes. Horses and mules to work the fields . Nope I ain’t gonna go green!
