And Cummins should have replaced them all when they knew the problem but instead they got away with it . Even their replacement program wasn�t that great they would give you a block but it had to be installed at a Cummins repair facility with all new guts that you pay for including labor so buy the time you�re done it�s still a huge bill that you�re stuck with . Cummins might be the best light duty truck engine but that�s not saying a whole lot when you look at the competition. Then you get the 04 to 07 Cummins that break the piston rings because of the redesigned pistons to try and psss emissions .
