There is a story there. My 2000 has the hydraulic pump mounted at the rear of the engine on the left side, hoses go across to the right side, THROUGH the bottom of the tranny sump and back to the hydraulic section.
Upon performing routine maint., I pulled the full plug on the side of the tranny and out comes a bunch of oil....figured out it was hydraulic fluid from the hyd. sump....which is different from the differential sump. Both tranny and diff were gear oil at time of mfgr.
Since my tranny had been working just fine with 134AB for who knows how many years, and later model tractors of higher hp, like the '65 3000 used UTF everywhere, in went UTF. Sound Guy hit on my problem years ago in that over the years those pipes going through the tranny gear box develop holes from rust....since oil float and water sinks and surrounds the pipes if you don't drain periodically, and rusts them. Not worth a split to fix that, just drain in a clean container, strain and return it to it's rightful sump.
