I wasted my time like that a couple of years ago, it was fun. Now when I hear stuff like that or an automated recorded voice, I hang up. Things have gotten even more stupid, I hung up on a recorded message and when the bride got home she asked about an eye doctor calling, I hadn't waited for the message. She called to check. When she got a person and explained, I asked her to give me the phone - we both go to the same guy - so I told the person that a human was the only thing I will talk to/listen to and asked that they e-mail or have a person call next time. They had a human call for my appointment a few weeks later.
