The diesel part: gas or diesel, you'll probably want a block/tank heater in it for up here in Minnesota. With the diesel you need to plug it in for an hour or 2. With a gas you probably want to plug it in, not much difference. Regular diesel fuel gels up & won't flow in cold weather. There are additives at the farm supply store to fight this, and get a 'winter blend' or the thinner winter diesel for use in winter. (This stuff produces a bit less power, and doesn't lube the pump as well in the heat of summer, so go back to regular in summer.) But it's not as big a deal as it sounds, about like adding gas-line antifreeze to your car... Power steering: I load manure & other jubs with my H tractor & loader. Narrow front, no power steering, no live hydraulics. If I were out buying, this is about the worst rig you could get. But, since it's here, I use it. Dad bought it in the '40s, and it's done the loader chores on this farm all the while. So, you'll wish you had power steering, but if you don't have it you won't know what you are missing. Don't know if this helps you? :) --->Paul

Rustic places with cheerful names like "The Griffin" "Red Lion" or "The Plough and Harrow" are found dotted around the country lanes all over the place. The warm glow of yellowish light can be seen for quite some distance at dusk, and
