I sure hope so too. Maybe all the tensions both our countries have with China may end up doing us all a favour. A few years ago we needed a new key switch for Dads 2N Ford. I saw one for less than $10 on amazon. I said I refuse to put cheap Chinese garbage on Dads tractor. I called our local Newholland dealer they said sure they can order one,$50. It came in a CNH box, inside the box was a CNH bag containing a Chinese bag that contained the same switch I saw on amazon. It was my own fault for not asking where it was manufactured before I ordered it but it was quite an eye opener. I had to get a new starter for our old F150 awhile ago. It was made in China too. The parts guy who’s near 60 said years ago in Canada there were litterly hundreds of little shops that remanufactured starters and alternators. He said nobody he’s aware of in our country does that anymore,it all comes from China.
