Marine batteries are designed to be drained to almost dead and then recharged ,back several years ago we vehicles with light bars and as high as 3 of old buisness band radios .These would sit idling for hour on fires they worked very well on some of them ,but the ones that took a constain use off road working fires didnot last .Went to NAPA they have a battery used in police and emergency vehicles these batteries lasted alot longer.
