Are you considering some sort of regular lawn mower for right around the house? For the bulk of the 6 acres a 'bush hog' style would be more bang for the buck, but not as clean a mow. Your call. For the tractor, doesn't matter what color you get. What you will prefer is low (under trees, won't tip if you do find a hill), wide front (more stable, less tracks in lawn), and live pto (just nicer to work with pto equipment if it's some version of live - do the ORC thing if you don't have live pto). You don't _need_ any of these, but you will be glad you got them if you do. --->Paul
