if the head is cast iron, and if you're pretty good (steady) with the welding rod and if it were me, i'd try it. 6011, 6013, weld through the nut (heavy nut if you can find one) let the heat soak to the head for about 60 seconds. dribble water on the nut only to cool it. good wrench, lots of your favorite pentrating oil and pressure on the wrench in both directions until you feel it move (hopefully) more oil and you're home free. if not you can always use the left hand drill. the easyouts....last ditch thing. if they fail you are in trouble.
