Sort of off the wall question in a way.
Back in the day my late Dad always got his tractor oil/filters from the local Cenex dealer in my hometown. That place closed long ago and a check online finds not so many dealers that carry the lubricants anymore. Nearest to the farm probably 15 miles and next one 30.
There is 1 and maybe 2 empty 55 gal oil drums in the shed what had cenex oil in them. The last one I emptied doing a oil change on one of the antique tractors a few years ago.
Do these have any deposit value and can I exchange them for full ones anymore? I would expect the drums date to the mid 90s.
What do folks do for bulk oil nowadays? The new equipment must have huge fill capacities for oil and hydraulics.
