I have a portable oxygen concentrator that I carry on the tractors with me when in the field. It weighs about 14 lbs because when I got it prescribed to me I needed oxygen 24/7 and the little ones cannot do the job. I plug it into the cig. lighter on the tractor for 12 volt or I can use it on batteries but they only last about 2 hours of continous use. I have a large one that operates on 110 Volts for here in the house when I need it and for at night. I have COPD that has brought on pulmonary hypertension--left side of my heart cannot get blood to the lungs properly causing the right side to work extra hard and enlarge. VA is where I got mine, but they will only prescribe them if your pulse-ox falls below 88 with a 6 minute walk. VA has been very good to me over the years. I go to ther Chillicothe< Ohio VA Medical Center.
