On all of the more modern trucks I have driven in the last few years all you do is bump the key and they will either crank until they start or crank until they cycle out. The first truck I drove that had that was a 2010 F150 I think, scared the crap out of me the first time it kept on cranking when I let off the key. I almost took it in for a service when another guy I worked with explained how it worked.
