here is a picture of new tong dies as YT had posted in the find. never know it could have even been kids playing with them and just left them where ever. also posting a picture of the grabber box from a top drive I am rebuilding. the dies are fitted into the grabber plates then closed on the pipe then connection is broke out with that big yellow drive in the background. the use of tongs and Kelly is pretty much going obsolete. the drill stem is now turned from the top, not with the rotary table anymore.
