i was raised around horses and farm stuff but at 13 i lost both my legs at the hips.when i turned 16 my parents had a car converted to hand controls for me. there was no one that knew about converting farm machinery. my dad and a friend converted our skid steer loader by making all hand controls and cuting the cab so it was easier to get into from my wheelchair. they also had a seat molded to fit my body (i have no legs at all, even part of my of my pelvic bone had to be amputated).this allows me to clean horse stalls and do other jobs around the farm.if anyone knows any more on this topic please post it. i would like to someday convert other things
