I spent 22 years fixing rear tractor tires. For gosh sakes DO NOT put your wooden blocks between the jack and the tractor axle. The jack will split your wooden block and if you have the wheel rim and tire off it is gonna land on the ground. You should have no problems jacking up the tractor from the drawbar, then crib it good under the axle. But please do not put that block between the jack and tractor.
