Is “kicking” trailer away due to not having enough weight on the hitch and the centre of the weight too far behind the hitch ?
A deckover is a huge advantage of not hangingup loads on the wheel wells .
Using the heaviest highest load rated tires on the truck and trailer that are fully inflated will reduce the sway/kick.
As previously stated , if the truck is not rated for the load, then it isn’t rated for the load . What are the specs of your truck? There is a sticker in the driver’s door frame that tells all . Sometimes a label on the radiator shroud too. Should be a list of option codes in the glove box that will indicate the trucks options .
