I know from reading various books on the N-Series Ford Ferguson tractors, that Ferguson was very fussy and required that all bolts be lightly oiled and only a certain number of threads show beyond the nut...FWIW
I personally do not use any antiseize unless the manufacture manuals call for it..Or, it is in an area that is used alot. (front axle adj. bolts for example.)Head bolts/studs are not lubricated in most applications..
