help with identity

A friend is getting ready to sell his Massey but doesn't know much about it. I told him about this board and all of the helpful info. He said the ID number was TE 40297. Looking for any helpful info on this tractor eg. horsepower, year made, that sort of stuff. If the number above doesn't indicate anything, can you tell me where to have him look on the tractor for serial number or something that would help identify what he has?
