I used a 3.5 inch OD pipe because it all I had. I Welded 3 brackets so it could bolt it to snow blade. If you have gravel drive and use this slag pipe to level drive before snows, you won't remove too much gravel if you listen for the pipe when it hits gravel. It would work better if the snow blade were lighter or if you use a larger pipe.
I always take snow to edge of road in case there is gravel in snow.
This works far better just using a blade without slag pipe.
I can only angle blade one position or the end will dig in to the gravel. Has anyone tired using a slag pipe?
