Some of the roads looked so plugged with snow for different reasons than just the volume of snow. Near all farms had fencing, and fences were right out to the edge of the very narrow road allowance. The wind just filled the road beds with snow. Winding out the road allowance, and raising the road beds made a world of difference. I have seen roads plugged with snow just like the film shows, it is no treat to live through. And I don�t want to go back.
