I am in northwest lower Michigan, typically a heavy snow belt area. After the last couple years of moving snow, and as I am certainly getting older, my wife finally said we either need to move or you need to get a tractor dedicated to moving snow. I bought a 1992 Kubota L2650 with a Sims cab and a front mount blower, and added a rear 6 foot blade. Tractor is in excellent shape, and only has 1300 hours on it. It would work perfect except this winter so far we really haven't gotten any snow. Currently have about 6 inches on the ground, which is nothing for our area in the middle of January. I have moved snow a few times, more to practice than a necessity, and have done most with the back blade. I have been calling the Kubota my snow prevention device. It is working well and I am ok with that.
