I too live in heavy snow country and have a long driveway. It's also windy here for days on end. I've tried blowing snow and it's a waste of time. In those conditions, you have no control over where the snow goes but I'll guarantee you one thing; what doesn't hit you in the face will end up back on your driveway! Instead I use a 3-pt. box blade to push it around and the loader bucket to put it where I want it. And I can see the whole time and stay nice and dry (and warm).
