I do not have a snow blower mounted on a tractor. Mine is a self propelled type. I did spend years trying to plow snow with a blade on a tractor. Picked up this rather old but solid (Ariens) two stage snow blower with about a 30" wide auger at a farm auction though. The tractor now sits quiet all winter long. Unless you've got some strange reason to not consider a self propelled unit, I'd recommend considering it. Three passes, and the driveway is fully open with mine. Lots less gas, and no headaches trying to hook up an impliment in the winter. I've been astonished at how well my self propelled unit does the job.
