Most retired people, myself included, think retirement is great. If you have a job you really love, it may be different. But for lots of folks, it is a grind. My friend and next door neighbor was going to work one more year, and then retire. He set up a nice shop, bought a lot of nice equipment, but cancer got him 6 months prior to his retirement date. I guess every day is a gift.
