I have to agree with SAO and some of the other posts. Although not directly related, I had a STihl chainsaw that woudl run great on a full tank but always quit when the fuel level went down. Turned out to be a crack in the fuel hose. Since then I realized how a small problem you couldn't even see in the fuel system can give big headaches.
