Bought my first tractor in May '01 from Canada (IH434) no problems at all. No duty on Farm Equipment (NAFTA agreement)No tax(GST & PST was not charged at the dealership because I was going to the US)
Found the tractor at AGDEALER.COM, went to see the tractor, the next weekend rented a trailor and brought it over the Peace Bridge (Buffalo, NY)
Exchange was $1.56 at the time. Was a good experience and saved quite a bit with the exchange rate.
