So I got a call the other day about this tractor and the starter not spinning the engine over but you could hear it spin. Went and look at it today and tried to pull the starter off. Got it off all but the battery cable. Stud is stripped and I did not have a thin enough wrench to go under the cable. Stud spun enough so I could not test it off the tractor to see if the solenoid was pushing the bendex out and pretty sure that was the problem. One the snow melts some I get to go and either use a thin 13mm wrench to get under the cable end or cut the nut to remove the start. Oh well this is one I have worked on in the past and got it going last time
