Gotta agree Paul. What I can find says 37%. And I'd like to know just how much they actually generate on average day to day for an entire year. Not just on days when the wind is blowing. I driven through some of their wind farms in the last several years when not one blade was turning.
The figures I get is about 40 square miles of towers per every 100,000 people times 3. The redundancy factor is 3 40 square miles in separate locations so the wind is id turn at least one farm. That works out to about 384,000 square miles of wind farms. I don't have the solutions. But I don't think wind and solar are the key. More of a sideshow.
