Where I work we have had at least a dozen 9.0
liter engines. All having at least 150,000 miles
of heavy plowing and hauling intown uses. We had
2 head gaskets fail(very easy to replace on this
engine) I liked the motors. We've also had DT466
engines also with no troubles. I agree the 466 is better but I certainly wouldn't be scared of the
9.0 They were better on fuel and more responsive
for in town driving.
