I believe fossil fuel will eventually be replaced by electric . It is going to take a long time to phase out all the gas/diesel cars ,trucks, tractors, motorcycles, small engines and so on. I do think there will always be a supply of fuel for "classic" or "antique" engines available which will be exempt or grandfathered in. I would think there would be $ to be made in producing fuel for those applications so someone will do it. Just think of the huge amount of old tractors and collector cars out there belonging to people who are devoted to the hobby and have disposable income to use on them. The large and wealthy racing community isn't just going to go away either,not without a fight that is. I can't see that totally going away or being outlawed. My own opinion is the switch to electric will occur after anyone on this forum now will be long gone.
