Just a rookie here but have a thought. Certain parts that are not being made but much needed might include the steering gears for old JD's. I would look into getting a mass supply of these from a salvage yard welding them and remachining them. Lots of them wobble and the best fix is a new gear but nobody has them. Most machine shops don't like to tinker with these small parts. You could make quite a deal by going to shows to peddle them or do it on the net. Since these tractors spend 85% of their time going straight, these gears get bad in the middle. I bet there are other similar parts just like that you might make a good side business out of. Maybe do an exchange plan so you always have parts. Just a thought.
