Paid vacations started as a fringe benefit that employers used to attract and keep good workers. Just like health care. No employer was "required" to provide either one. These days health care is seen as a right. I guess vacations are going to be a right, too. Typical liberal thinking: "I'll give it to you, someone else will pay for it. The new NY congressman, oops congresswoman (name omitted to prevent poof) has an even grander plan. Healthcare, free college, guaranteed jobs...afterall, she won't be paying it. Sweden does it, why can't we? The new America, eh?
