I spent the day driving my tractor on the WMT Tractorcade today. We went from Oelwein, Ia. through Backbone State Park and through the Volga river vallley. It was a beautiful ride. I am on a 1948 MM UTS. Tomorrow we go from Elkader, Ia. to West Union, Ia. It really is a great 470 tractor - tractor show. We will be in West Union Tuesday Night and back to Oelwein Wednesday noon. Stop and see us if you can. The ride went very well. Everyone rode on the shoulder when there was traffic, and we got many thumbs up (no other fingers up that I saw). For my part, my wife and I probably left a combined $30 at various food stands / vendors. I know - what are we thinking? We aren't all even farmers. Re. an earlier post about the Homestead, Ia MM show - I would like to meet any of you that can be there. I will be standing proudly near a 1948 MM UTS, a MM AF 3-16 plow and an MM Gvi. Gary
